The engaging Gen-Z campaign during the Women's Euros 2022 tournament, telling the stories of four adidas sponsored players and their personal goals, featuring Millie Bright, Wendie Renard, Mapi Leon and Vivianne Miedema.
Working with creative agency, TBWA/London and adidas global, jdpl developed, managed and produced the entire campaign, comprising of four-player films, four huge murals across London, including the content capture of the murals (stills and time-lapse).
Each story is told through murals, showing each footballer and their story in a playful cartoon style. Alongside the murals, sit a series of short, vibrant, and playful films, illustrating the journey of the athletes who defied the odds and followed and achieved their own goals.

Adidas
The films are activated via a QR code integrated within the mural, whereby the series of films also live across both adidas and the player’s social channels.
Central to the creative approach is the re-enactment of key pivotal moments of each individual player’s journey. With the distinctively cinematic piece to camera and an array of stylistic cut-aways, the animation, graphics and typography depict the different aspects of the individual’s story in both a dramatic and playful way.
Ultimately the campaign is a bold and visually striking layered mixed-media campaign that tells our athlete’s stories in a distinctive way that stands out from the crowd and resonates with the Gen-Z audience.
